Every window is fitted with the correct manufacturer flashing kit for the covering, whether tile or slate, and the membrane is dressed into the opening so the window stays watertight.
Replacing old roof windows
Where an existing roof window has failed we can usually replace it within the same opening, reusing the structure and renewing the flashing and internal lining.

Can a Velux be fitted without scaffolding?
Access is assessed per property. Most installations require scaffold or tower for safe working and to allow the flashing to be dressed properly from outside.
Do I need building regulations approval for a roof window?
Roof window installation is usually covered under building regulations for structure, thermal performance and, in loft conversions, means of escape. We advise on requirements at survey stage.
Can you fit conservation roof windows?
Yes. Conservation style windows sit flush with the roof line and are often required in conservation areas and on listed buildings.
