How we approach fascias and soffits
Ventilation at the eaves
New soffits are ventilated where the roof needs it, and eaves carrier trays are fitted so the membrane drains into the gutter rather than onto the fascia board.
Finish and guttering
Replacement in uPVC in white, black, grey or woodgrain, with new guttering fitted at the same time so the whole roofline is renewed together and properly aligned.

Can you fit new fascias over the old timber?
Capping over rotten timber hides the problem and traps moisture. We strip back to sound timber, repair what needs repairing, and fit new boards to a proper substrate.
How long does a full roofline replacement take?
A typical semi detached or detached home takes two to four days once scaffold is up, including guttering renewal.
Do fascias and soffits need ventilating?
Yes. Without continuous ventilation at eaves level, warm moist air condenses in the roof space and damages timbers and insulation. Ventilation is built into every roofline installation we carry out.
