Our commitment
AM Roofing Services Ltd wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people using screen readers, keyboard only navigation, screen magnification or speech recognition software. We have built this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA, and to meet our duties under the Equality Act 2010.
What we have done
- Every page can be operated with a keyboard alone, and focus is always clearly visible.
- A skip to content link is the first item in the tab order on every page.
- Text and background colours meet a contrast ratio of at least 4.5 to 1 for body text, and 3 to 1 for large text and interface components.
- Headings follow a logical order, with a single H1 on each page.
- Semantic HTML landmarks are used for the header, navigation, main content and footer.
- Every image carries descriptive alt text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields have visible labels, are grouped correctly, and errors are described in text rather than by colour alone.
- The cookie banner receives focus when it opens, can be operated by keyboard, and never traps focus.
- Animation and movement respect the reduced motion setting in your operating system.
- Text can be resized to 200 per cent without loss of content or function.
Known limitations
Some documents supplied by third parties, such as manufacturer datasheets or certification PDFs, may not fully meet accessibility standards. If you need any of that information in a different format, contact us and we will supply it another way.
