Operatives are CSCS carded, NVQ qualified and first aid trained, and we carry £10m public and employers liability insurance. You get a written quotation, a planned programme, daily site photographs and completion documentation at handover.

How we do it
If less than roughly a fifth of the covering is affected and the fixings elsewhere are sound, repair is usually the right answer. Once failures appear across the whole roof, or the original underfelt has perished, a replacement costs less over any reasonable period than repeated repairs.
We inspect rafters, purlins and wall plates as soon as the covering is stripped, photograph anything that needs attention and agree it with you before carrying on. Nothing is added to the bill without your approval in writing.
Roofs are stripped in sections, not all at once, and every exposed area is sheeted and weathered at the end of each day. We watch the forecast closely and plan the stripping around it.

Widespread slipped or delaminating tiles, sagging roof lines, failed felt visible in the loft and repeated leaks in different positions all point to replacement. Our survey gives you a plain answer either way.
Sound clay and natural slate can often be salvaged and relaid, which suits conservation areas. Concrete tiles past their service life are usually better replaced. We confirm this at survey.
