AM Roofing Services Ltd has traded for 20 years and is NFRC Registered and Constructionline Gold certified. Operatives are CSCS carded, NVQ qualified and first aid trained, and we carry £10m public and employers liability insurance. You get a written quotation, a planned programme, daily site photographs and completion documentation at handover.

How we do it
Concrete tile, clay tile and natural slate each suit different properties, budgets and planning constraints. We talk through appearance, weight, lifespan and cost at the survey, and check whether a conservation area or listing limits the choice before you commit.
A new roof is only as good as what sits underneath it. We fit a breathable membrane, provide eaves and ridge ventilation to prevent condensation in the roof space, and use treated, graded battens at the correct gauge for the covering chosen.
Every tile or slate mechanically fixed to current standards, with dry fix ridge, hip and verge systems where they suit the roof, and code 4 or code 5 lead at abutments, chimneys and valleys.

Most detached and semi detached homes are completed in five to ten working days once scaffold is up, depending on roof size, pitch and weather. Your written programme sets out the expected dates before we start.
A like for like re roof is usually permitted development. If you are changing the roof shape, adding dormers or the property is listed or in a conservation area, permission may be needed. We flag this at survey stage.
